ABSTRACT

Now that a quality culture has been built, it needs maintained. This presentation discusses performance metrics, best practices and the quality management system (QMS) elements that contribute to maintaining the quality culture your laboratory has worked hard to establish.

The metrics used to evaluate and manage the overall performance of a quality culture can and should vary to some extend from those used for the QMS. These metrics are identified, explained and contrasted to the QMS metrics typically used at a laboratory.

Additionally, to help maintain the quality culture, certain best practices can be utilized and put into place. These will be highlighted and their role in maintaining the quality culture explained.

QMS elements contribute greatly to helping maintain the quality culture. These elements are discussed and how they directly help sustain the quality culture.

Throughout the presentation further references, links and resources will be provided to learn even more about maintaining your laboratory's quality culture.
