Valerie Slaven
Valerie Slaven is currently a Vice President of Operations at Pace Analytical Services. She has been with Pace since they acquired PDC laboratories in 2021. She started in the environmental industries immediately after receiving her B.S. in Chemistry and Math from McKendree University.

Her career started as a Wet Chemistry bench level analyst but her passion for the work lead her to expand into metals, VOA and SVOA as well where she both analyzed samples and managed the team in each department. Later she took on Quality Manager and Technical Director roles before returning to operations management. During her career she has been active in TNI, serving as the chair of Chemistry Expert Committee before accepting a position on the Board of Directors.
