David Schiessel
David Schiessel is the Organics Department Technical Manager at Babcock Laboratories Inc. in Riverside CA where he is responsible for using technology to develop novel strategies to solve the most complex environmental problems. He has successfully implemented large scale NTA testing for the state of California using High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry at Babcock Labs, developed computational tools to support the identification of unknown chemicals in environmental samples, and currently serves as the Vice-Chair for the Best Practices for Non-targeted Analysis (BP4NTA). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and Earth Science from Washington State University with highest honors.
