Ilkka Lahdesmaki
Ilkka Lahdesmaki received a degree in Chemical Engineering at Abo Akademi University in Finland. He did his graduate work at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA), leading to a Ph.D. degree. Follwing his graduate studies, he held an R&D scientist position at Schering Pharma, working on chromatographic method development and validation. Since 2010, he has been Chief Scientist at FIAlab Instruments, where he is involved in the development of instrumentation for sample handling and analysis, mostly for environmental, agricultural and pharmaceutical applications.
