Renan Silva
Renan Lourenço de Oliveira Silva is the Sampling Division Manager at CETESB, where he has worked since 2010. He began his career at the company as an Environmental Technician and was promoted to manager in 2022. He is currently pursuing a position as a Chemist within the organization.
Silva holds a technical degree in Chemistry from Etec Getúlio Vargas and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry at the University of São Paulo (USP). He also earned a Master's degree from the Institute for Energy and Nuclear Research (IPEN/USP), focusing on environmental studies. Before joining CETESB, he worked for three years in the chemical industry, specializing in quality control and research and development of adhesives and sealants for the automotive sector.
Throughout his career, Silva has been dedicated to environmental sampling, quality control in sample collection, and managing water and wastewater quality monitoring programs. He actively participates in technical conferences and international training programs related to environmental sampling and sampling uncertainty.
