Daniel Tettenhorst

Dan Tettenhorst is a chemist and principal investigator and has been with the EPA’s Office of Research and Development for about 15 years. He works on projects involving the development of validated analytical methods to detect drinking water contaminants. He has been involved in the development of four drinking water methods, including EPA Method 537.1 for the determination of select PFAS and EPA Method 544 for the determination of select microcystins and nodularin. These methods are used for collecting national occurrence data on chemical contaminants in drinking water. Mr. Tettenhorst has a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Cincinnati.
